Current plans emphasise station connections, walking and cycling routes, shade, greening and safer public spaces. These links are especially important between the Cross River Rail site, busway, Gabba and surrounding streets.
What good delivery looks like
Continuous footpaths, useful shade, safe crossings, legible cycle connections and active street edges matter more than a diagram alone. Each development approval should be checked for how it contributes to—or interrupts—that network.
